LATELY ON COVETEUR

Coveteur goes behind the scenes at the Marc Jacobs Spring 2024 show with hairstylist Duffy.

The artist discusses her childhood in Italy, her approach to her work, and why she believes everyone needs to slow down.

Valentine’s Day gifting should be fun. Here’s a gift guide for the unapologetically maximalist, dopamine-dressing, color-loving Valentine in your life.

5 X 5

5 Things Samantha Wu Is Currently Into Based on the 5 Senses

👁️ Sight 👀

Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn: I know I'm late to this one, but I recently finished reading Gone Girl. I love a mystery/psychological thriller and am always looking for a new one to read.

🎧 Sound 👂

Glossy Audiobook by Marisa Meltzer: I will not expose my music taste on the internet, but I will say I have been listening to the audiobook version of Glossy. I love learning about founder stories, so it's been very interesting to hear about Emily Weiss and Glossier.

👅 Taste 😋

Emmett's on Grove: I am a creature of habit and when I find something good, I stick to it. I love Italian food, so if I had to recommend a restaurant, off the top of my head I would say Emmett's on Grove in the West Village. Everything there is delicious and I swear the ginger ale just hits different.

👃 Smell 😶‍🌫️

Dae's Cactus Fruit 3-in-1 Styling Cream: I've been using Dae's Cactus Fruit 3-in-1 Styling Cream every time I blow my hair and I find that it holds a blowout better when I use it. It smells SO good and doesn't feel greasy at all.

🤌 Feel 🤏

Saie Glowy Super Gel Lightweight Dewy Multipurpose Illuminator: I've been using this for a few months now and love how my skin looks when I put it on. Not to be that girl, but I do put this on before I go to the gym just to feel a little more put together.

SAMANTHA’S WARDROBE ESSENTIALS

I live and die by a wardrobe of basics and neutrals. Everything I own, down to my phone case, is in a color palette of black, white, and beige. What can I say, I like what I like. I tend to grab the classics and find myself choosing jeans over a dress with New York being cold as hell lately. You will never not find me wearing dainty gold jewelry as I usually don't take it off!

VANITY

Samantha Wu’s Beauty Go-To’s

I'm a skincare and beauty lover and am obsessed with trying out new products. That being said, I'm very strict and don't allow myself to buy new things until I've used up what I have (unless I have a reaction to the product). Most of the things I've listed are products I've used for years. My skin has changed a bit over the last few years, and I've developed a bit more acne so Panoxyl has been my go-to. I've also developed more dark spots and so I swear by this concealer. It's super creamy and a little goes a long way. All I have to say is don't knock the OG beauty brands.
