Our Chief Brand Officer Has a Hot Take

If Fortune favors the bold, Coveteur’s Chief Brand Officer Marc Duron is Fortune’s favorite son. Today marks the one-week anniversary of our new look and vision, so we thought we’d introduce you to one of the key figures behind the transformation. Here, Marc shares a few of his wardrobe essentials, grooming faves, and a hot take that our Social Editor might have some thoughts on. For a closer look at his personal style (and a tour of some truly fantastic jackets), we suggest checking out this recent dive inside his closet.  — Maraya

LATELY ON COVETEUR

The UK photographer shares a few tricks of the trade and his typography philosophy (“The bigger and blockier, the better.”)

We were randomly locked out of our Instagram account from January 4th through the 16th, and many creators and small businesses have had similar, if not worse, experiences. How do we hold Meta accountable?

Three nights at a 400-year-old, 160-acre organic farm and five-star wellness resort in Going am Wilden Kaiser, Austria.

5 Things Marc Duron Is Currently Into Based on the 5 Senses

👁️ Sight 👀

Auntie Mame (1958): The film 'Auntie Mame' (1958) is a forever inspiration. Mame, played by Rosalind Russell, is unconventional, unafraid, unapologetic, and manages to not just overcome life's obstacles while taking care of those she cares about, but she does it with bold, confident flare. Plus, her forever-changing interior design is my dream state.

🎧 Sound 👂

The Importance of Being Idle by Oasis: Noel Gallagher combined the sounds of two of my favorite British bands, The Kinks and The La's, and created a sound that lives in the back of my mind always. He said, "Having nothing to do is such a massive job that someone had to write a song about it" in a Rolling Stone interview, and it's a fucking vibe.

👅 Taste 😋

👃 Smell 😶‍🌫️

Dries van Noten Rock The Myrrh: Eclectic and mystical.

🤌 Feel 🤏

Vintage Levi’s: Vintage Levi's 505 from Varsity Los Angeles. Best $80 I've ever spent.

MARC’S WARDROBE ESSENTIALS

Random stuff I like that fits great, feels better, and is easy to find in my closet. (Mostly because each item is always at the very front or sitting on top of my dresser.)

VANITY

Marc Duron’s Beauty Go-To’s

Heavy focus on great, hydrated skin paired with deeper, woodsy scents.

Indie Option: Xinú Copāla
