Spicy Food As Stress Relief
If you’ve ever wondered how the Coveteur train stays on the track, it’s all due to our editorial assistant, Katie Mok. Today, she joins us to share a few of her wardrobe essentials, including her favorite vintage blazer and classic sneaker; the Netflix show she binged in one night; and the makeup she feels the most herself wearing. — Maraya
LATELY ON COVETEUR

5 Things Katie Mok Is Currently Into Based on the 5 Senses
👁️ Sight 👀
The Killer Paradox: Netflix’s summary starts with “When one accidental killing leads to another…” that was enough for me to binge in one night.
🎧 Sound 👂
Spotify Single: Covers Playlist: This is a playlist I love to revisit often. I love when artists cover songs adding their styles and colors. Thuy’s cover of Tamia’s So Into You is a personal favorite!
👅 Taste 😋
Mala Project: Spicy food is my stress relief. While I can’t really handle the intense mala spice, Mala Project met me halfway, with a half-level spicy dry mala pot and burned the stress of the week away.
👃 Smell 😶🌫️
Phlur Somebody Wood Body Wash: I’m on my second bottle and I don’t think I’m going to stop. This musky wood scent lingers on your body and in the bathroom after a hot shower.
🤌 Feel 🤏
Rom&nd Glasting Lip Gloss in Meteor Track: There’s a slight plumping effect with this gloss but not to a point where is extremely noticeable and burns. Bonus points for its water-like consistency, it’s not sticky but it won’t slip and slide right off your lips either.
KATIE’S WARDROBE ESSENTIALS
I’m a creature of habit and naturally reach toward the same couple of items. But I pride myself on owning a few pieces that can withstand the test of time. My mom gave me my favorite leather blazer (read: stolen), which she got 20-some-odd years ago on a business trip. My most worn necklace was a gift I gave my grandma. She practically shoved it back into my hands five years later, saying she put it to good use over the years and gotten her enough compliments, and was running low on space in her jewelry box. I mean I’m not complaining…

VANITY
Katie Mok’s Beauty Go-To’s
From fragrances to skincare, I love natural finishes. Using these products makes me feel like I’m in my own skin rather than wearing a mask. Getting here was no easy feat either, after a long trial and error, I can finally erase the heavy raccoon eyes I did back in high school.
