What This Sex Educator Is Into

Welcome back! Have you also binged the Beckham documentary series? In honor of one of Britain’s most famous blokes, today we revisit “blokette;” this time for fall. Also ahead, sex educator and mental health podcaster Eileen Kelly shares five things she is currently into, including Lana Del Rey (preach) and Anna Weyant's exhibition at the Gagosian in Paris. Maraya

LATELY ON COVETEUR

Our favorite serums that best utilize this tricky powerhouse ingredient.

We are obsessed with this new collaboration featuring metallic cowboy books and glamorous partywear.

Similar to the regular one-night stand, it’s a union forged in the fiery passion of camaraderie that burns bright for one night and is left in the rearview mirror as a fond memory

TODAY’S TREND

Autumnal Blokette

I’ve been charmed by “blokette” ever since I first spotted girlies on the Lower East Side tie ribbons in their Sambas two summers ago, but the recent Beckham documentary series has inspired me to find ways to apply this trend to a fall wardrobe. The vibe is footballer [not American] meets Sofia Coppola; the pastoral montage from Marie Antoinette but soundtracked by Oasis. I love this combination of slouchy denim and ballet flats paired with an Adidas track jacket for a sporty, feminine look.

Five things Eileen Kelly is into, based on the five senses.

Eileen Kelly is a sex educator, writer, founder of the sex and relationship blog Killer and a Sweet Thang, and host of the podcast Going Mental, which is known for her refreshingly frank confrontations with—at times—taboo subject matter and transparency regarding her personal mental health journey. Here, she shares five things she is currently into based on the five senses.

👁️ Sight 👀

Anna Weyant: The Guitar Man: Anna Weyant's The Guitar Man exhibition at Gagosian in Paris, which opened on October 18th, is a must-see. Her work is captivating, as she takes ordinary objects like flowers, bowls of fruit, and a dollhouse, and imbues them with an element of mystery and seduction. There's a sense that something is lurking just beyond the canvas. Don't miss the opportunity to immerse yourself in the enigmatic world she creates.

🎧 Sound 👂

“California” by Lana Del Rey: I've been finding solace in Lana Del Rey's music as I navigate through a difficult period in my personal life. Specifically, I find myself listening to "California" and "How to Disappear" on repeat. She's been providing a soothing soundtrack to my emotions.

👅 Taste 😋

Foie Gras: I'm currently in Paris and I'm a big foie gras fan... so let's just say I'm trying to eat it all before I have to head back to New York. I particularly love it seared with some apple or pear.

👃 Smell 😶‍🌫️

Chanel Chance: Lately, my favorite fragrance has been Chanel Chance—the green one. I'm not a perfume expert but the Jasmine notes really perk me up on chilly autumn days.

🤌 Feel 🤏

The Row 90s Bag: My 90s Row bag can surprisingly hold a lot despite its small size. As a small bag enthusiast, I appreciate that it can fit my essentials without weighing me down when I run around town. I also love that it's discreet with no big logos for everyday wear. I think I might even have to buy it in another colorway.
