Fallen Angels (1995): A movie I've been into lately is Wong Kar-wai's Fallen Angels (1995). Aside from being beautifully shot, it has an underlying tone of sadness—navigating life, accepting loneliness, and how complicated connection with others can be. If I'm ever up late at night, I turn it on. I find it comforting, and the soundtrack is really good.

Gilberto with Turrentine (Remastered) by Astrud Gilberto (1971): An album I've been enjoying lately is Gilberto with Turrentine (Remastered) by Astrud Gilberto (1971). Whenever life starts to get really hectic, I listen to a lot of Jazz or Bossa Nova. Astrud Gilberto and some of her longtime collaborators like João Gilberto and Stan Getz have always been a favorite of mine. This album slows down time and reminds me I have control over my life, in a strange way. I've also been listening to a lot of Janet Jackson and as a singer/songwriter myself, she's a major inspiration for me and really gets the creative gears going in my mind.

Slow Loris: I am obsessed with this Japanese/Korean fusion restaurant by Prospect Park called Slow Loris. I love their food, especially the little J-Bao sandwiches, so crispy and soft and yummy and delicious. Definitely check them out!

Freshly Cleaned Bed Sheets: I love the smell of freshly cleaned bed sheets. It's so inviting and makes my room feel complete. I'm allergic to smells so I'm big on every single thing in my life smelling fresh, natural, clean, and simple.

Makeup Forever Lip Liner: I recently got new lipliners from Makeup Forever and WOW. My first time trying it was onset at a photoshoot, and I was blown away at the long-lasting wear. Ever since, I've been hooked and my lips look amazing.

It took me forever to find one in perfect condition and at an honorable price, but I scored big time! She's my baby. 

Sandy Liang Mary Jane Pointe In Ballet Satin: Now, I am a petite girl and I've always hated flats, especially as a teen wearing uniforms every day to school.
